Planning a hen party, birthday, baby shower or a get together with friends that’s a little bit different? Sabi offers private workshops which involves learning a new skill, having a great time with loved ones and creating your own bespoke, hand painted earrings.
Before booking, we will have a consultation to make sure the workshop is tailored to your needs. I will travel to you, hosting the workshop in your home or hired venue. The standard workshop will run for around 3 hours, with an interval in-between (an opportunity for you to top up your glasses or grab some nibbles!). We will start with a guided painting tutorial before painting three pairs of earrings each!
All Materials will be provided as well as fresh flowers for the table and an illustrated guidebook for you to keep. No creative experience is necessary! This workshop will focus on evoking creativity, encouraging mindful painting and gaining knowledge on colour and mark making whilst making memories with your loved ones.
Prices for workshops start at £50pp with a minimum of 4 participants

I booked one of Jess’s private workshops for my best friend’s hen/birthday weekend at a holiday rental in the Yorkshire Dales. Jess was super helpful, responsive and thoughtful throughout the booking process, tailoring the workshops to our individual needs and being endlessly patient with me as I made last minute changes!
On the day of the workshop, Jess arrived and set up in the kitchen whilst we had lunch. When she invited us through, she had decorated the table with flowers and candles, creating a lovely, peaceful ambience.
The workshop was wonderful, Jess is clear and knowledgeable, and makes her designs so accessible to recreate. We enjoyed having the time to practise technique and paint some botanicals to inspire us, before moving on to create our designs for our earrings! During the session, we created 3-4 items each, which Jess collected at the end to take away for finishing.
Our designs arrived a week later, packaged beautifully and finished perfectly. Sharing our pics on our WhatsApp group - the common theme is that none of us believed we had it in us to create such beautiful artwork!
I cannot recommend Jess and her workshops enough - for all ages and genders. Jess, thank you for everything and I look forward to booking another workshop in future

Standard Itinerary
This is the standard workshop intinerary, but this can be fully ammended and designed to your needs.
Start - The workshop will start and you will be invited to join the workshop table filled with beautiful fresh flowers and ambient candles. We will start with an insight into colour mixing and begin the guided painting tutorial. We will recreate one of Sabi’s most popular designs and learn how to paint different flower shapes… This will awaken those creative sparks and you’ll gain confidence working with the paint. Questions are encouraged and guidance will be given throughout!
Interval - This will be an opportunity for you to top up your drinks and grab some nibbles whilst I ready the table for the next part of the workshop, cleaning paint palettes and refreshing paint water. Embrace the time to let the new knowledge you’ve learned sink in and think of designs for your own earrings.
Second half - After the interval, you’ll be invited back to the workshop table to paint your own designs. We can practice first on paper before painting onto already baked and cut shapes. You have total creative freedom to design your own unique shape combinations and will have the opportunity to paint up to three pairs of earrings (Time dependant). I’ll be on hand to help and guide you through your design every step of the way.
Workshop Ends - The workshop will end, all earrings will be gathered to be professionally varnished and assembled by me in my studio. All earring designs will be sent by post in the days following!
